Spells / Special Abilities:
Special: Mary's special moves are based on a fighting style that utilizes combo strikes and grapples. As such Mary can string her special moves into a combination of strikes equal to her base Fighting stat -2 CS (base of Excellent) and can go no lower than Typical. Should the first strike in her combo fail, the rest of the combo fails automatically. The combo continues until there is a failing strike, and the rest of the combo automatically fails. She cannot use her combos in combat that has restrictions. Mary's combos cost the sum of all moves strung together, even if they fail.

Effect: Mary moves into a sliding attack, kicking her opponent to knock them back. On a yellow, the target of this move is knocked back, staggering them until their next turn.

Effect: Only follows up Straight Slicer. When done so, instead of
knocking back her opponent, Mary grabs their hips with her legs and
flips them over her body, throwing them down. On a yellow attack,
the target is knocked down.
└►Stun Fang:
Cost: 5SP
Effect: Only follows up Straight Slicer. When done so, Mary lifts to a
kneeling position as she knocks her opponent back, thrusting a
taser into their stomach, causing them to be shocked, stunning
them for one round.
Vertical Arrow: ☆

Effect: Mary performs a jumping high kick, lifting her opponent off the ground and onto their back. On a yellow, the opponent is knocked down.

the opponent's neck with her legs as they're lifted off the ground.
Upon impact with the ground, Mary delivers a twist of her thighs,
cracking the opponent's neck dealing Excellent damage. On a
yellow, the opponent is also paralyzed by -1CS.
Spin Fall: ☆
Cost: 5SP
Effect: Mary flips into the air and extends her leg, causing her opponent to be knocked back, staggering them for one round on a successful hit.

Cost: 10SP
Effect: Only follows up Spin Fall. When done so, Mary grabs the
opponent's arm on her descent and flips them over, pulling their
arm down over her shoulder to dislocate it in the process. On a
yellow, the opponent suffers -1CS to Fighting and must take a turn
to pop their arm back into place.
Real Counter:
Cost: 10SP
Effect: Mary taunts her opponent and sets up for a counter attack. For one round, and usable for only the next attack that targets her, she can counter with a successful yellow defense.

Effect: Only follows up Real Counter. When done so, Mary will
counter using a grab instead of a standard attack and suplexes
her opponent onto the ground, knocking them down for 1 round.
Mary Breaker:
Cost: 15SP
Effect: This move cannot be chained. Mary jumps and grabs her opponent's neck before kneeing them in the face, grabbing their arm and dropping them to their knees before snapping their arm. The opponent is stunned for one round and suffers a -1CS to Fighting.

Mary Typhoon: ☆

Effect: Mary jumps and lands onto her opponent's shoulders, grabs their neck with her feet and flips them over, tossing them to the ground. This move deals Excellent damage and upon a yellow, the opponent is knocked down. Upon a red, the opponent is knocked down and suffers -1CS to FASE.
Mary Splash Rose:
Cost: 25SP
Effect: Mary circles her opponent, striking them with a multitude of punches before jumping into the air, striking her opponent along the way to lift them up into the air and letting them fall back to the ground. This move ups the damage by 1 for each link in the combo chain. (Good if by itself, Excellent if the second hit, Remarkable if the third hit.) If this attack is a critical hit, it automatically does Remarkable damage.
Mary Dynamite Throw:
Cost: 30CP
Effect: Mary knees her opponent into the air, jumps and suplexes them to the ground, causing them to bounce. She then grabs their legs and spins them around before letting them go flying away from combat. This move deals Excellent damage as well as knocks down the opponent for 3 rounds. Should this attack be a critical hit, they are knocked unconscious.
Biography:
Mary's former lover, Butch, and her father worked together as fellow colleagues in the secret service. While on a mission protecting the president, they were both shot and killed by terrorists. Devastated by the loss, it is said she has never smiled again since the incident. The leather jacket she wears is a keepsake given to her as a gift from Butch.
Having been taught by her former lover how to fight, she becomes a freelancer. She takes on various odd jobs to investigate mysterious cases. During this time, she meets Terry Bogard at the King of Fighters Tournament and the two become good friends.
