Personality:

Arngrim is a man of practicality. He enjoys battle, and loves to steep himself in it when he can. Such is a mercenary's way after all, for he enjoys an honest challenge. He is no-nonsense, and prefers to be accompanied by those who can handle themselves; he is not given to coddling. As well-respected as he is among the knights of Artolia, if only for his ability to fight, Arngrim tires of such chatter as well.

Biography:

In the wake of wars that raged between the lands of Midgard, Arngrim, ever the eager warrior, had carved a name for himself as an effective mercenary. The lands of Dipan and Crell Monferaigne had proven to be excellent grounds to find work. Born in the lands of Artolia, he grew up with such a mentality, while his brother remained at home, making his living off of his artwork. Arngrim often questioned the purpose, even though in the end the two bore the same motives

They did what they did, because they enjoyed it.

However, in times of peace, mercenaries had often found themselves out of jobs. Between wars, Arngrim was a treasure hunter, investigating old ruins where he might, finding a reliable partner or two on occasion to aid in such.
