She'd rather talk her way out of the situation than have to draw weapons. Whenever she has to draw weapons, you know things have really gone bad.

Description: She has short red hair that is fairly bright, especially in the sun. This has earnt her the nickname Red. She has mysterious hazel coloured eyes which seem to change colour at times, whenever you look at them. Often dressed in tight pants and boots, with a blouse that reveals some cleavage.

Biography: Alisynn was born to a rich merchant on a distant island, a place far removed from technology. Her father was a successful merchant who was often out at sea making deals. One tragic day he was lost at sea. Her mother tried to keep the business afloat but they ran into hard times. Alisynn was the one who managed to keep things running. But it was not proper for a woman to do this. There was a rich suitor who wished her hand in marriage, so he could run the business. Alisynn rebelled as she loved another man, though he had been killed by footpads shortly after her father.

After so much heartache in such a short while, Alisynn made up her mind that she was going to change all that. She ran away to sea when she was only 16, cutting her hair short and boarding a boat of 'privateers'.

During her time with them, she saw things she could only have dreamed of. Dark skinned women with barely any clothing, tanned men with lots of weapons dangling off their belts, exotic animals and much much more on show. Alisynn snuck off the boat and made her way onto the foreign shores, only to be caught and taken as a slave.
Alisynn was sold to a man the next morning, and she was made to be a servant in his household. The work was hard and their matron was cruel. She picked on the most pretty girls, and made them work the hardest. She would find any excuse for them to be 'punished' for failing their duties. Many nights were spent crying herself to sleep, until she finally found her opportunity. She was alone in one of the rooms, when she found detailed maps and charts just discarded on a table. Though she didn't know much, it at least gave her the layout of the lands. She made plans to escape that night, along with a young girl she'd befriended. A dark skinned girl by the name of Mae. Together the pair carried out a daring plan to escape, and fled into the night. They spent the next few days stealing food to survive, before they managed to stow away on a ship.

As she watched the mansion she hated so much, fade into the distance, she made a vow never to bow down again to anyone. After they were found as stowaways on the ship, both girls were threatened with being thrown overboard, but were eventually put to work until the ship was to hit land. The ship was a simple merchant ship, conveying goods back and forth, though it had no particular alleigance to any one country or realm.
Over time she persuaded the men to teach her basic skills like fighting and other things. Amused by her desire to learn these things, they humoured her with these requests. As they sailed on, they ran into a band of pirates. During the attack, the Captain was badly wounded. As one of the pirates went in for the mortal blow, Alisynn moved to protect him with a discarded sword she'd found on the deck. She was able to hold her own against the pirate so much so that she impressed the Pirate Captain. He decided that instead of sinking the Merchant ship, he'd take Alisynn. The Merchant Captain refused to bargain, and in a quick change of fortune, managed to run the pirates back to their own ship.

Once things calmed down, the Merchant Captain revealed he was actually a 'person of fortune', and that the man who had just attacked them was a despicable man who had no morals. His name was Khazuri 'Kinslayer Devlin' Yamaka, a noted pirate of the waters. One of the fiercest ever. The Merchant Captain went by a more respectable name of Captain Jerimiah 'Silver Tongue' Oakley. He took her and Mae under his wing, and kept them safe. Their determination had impressed him, and they'd never complained once about the hard work he gave them. Over time, Alisynn learnt all the tricks of being a 'Privateer', though Oakley never raided towns or hurt others unless there was no other way. After a few years, he decided he'd had enough of the life. He retired on a large fortune, and left everything in Alisynn's hands.

She became known as Red DeMuerte, and was well known among the circles here and there. She is a successful Privateer, though has recently fallen on hard times. Her ship was boarded about a year ago, and she was held captive. She was taken to a facility and made to act more 'ladylike', by being given drugs to calm her. About 5 or 6 months ago she was freed by some unknown people, and the drugs removed from her system. Once her memories began to come back, she went out in search of her ship.
