Biography:
Teri and Andie were orphans who raised themselves on the streets. They were soon adopted by Frieda Bogard and eventually lived in Northtown. When Teri was 10, she witnessed the death of her mother at the hands of Giselle Howard. Knowing that they needed more training to confront Giselle, the sisters made an oath to spend a decade to fine tune their martial arts before trying to avenge their mother. Unlike her sister Andie, who left Northtown to train in Japan, Teri chose to wander in her home country, combining the skills learned from her mother, her mother's mentor, and abilities gained from the streets.
A decade later, the crime lord Giselle Howard organized a tournament, dubbed The Queen of Fighters. Teri, Andie and Muay Thai Kickboxing champion Josie Higashi would enter with the purpose of facing Giselle. The battle that followed would eventually see Terii defeating Giselle, and for some time, it was thought that Giselle perished in the battle. The next year saw Giselle's half-sister Wolfheart Krauser take control of The Queen of Fighters, and bring the once Northtown-only tournament onto the world stage. The finals of this new tournament would again see Teri fighting the sponsor and her ultimately defeating Krauser. During this event, he befriended many of the contestants and became a hero of Northtown.
Some time later it was revealed that Giselle had survived her encounter with Teri. The Beauguards and friends learned of Giselle's intentions to retrieve the legendary Jin scrolls, Teri once again challenged and defeated her. Afterwards,Geiselle fled. Teri faced Yamazaki, then challenged the Jin sisters. Standing now as the victor, Teri once again was the champion. However, Giselle had escaped with the scrolls. During the next tournament, Teri managed to get all the way through the tournament to Giselle for one final conflict. At the end of the fight, she knocked Giselle off the edge of Giselle Tower, but grabbed hold of Giselle's hand and tried to keep her from falling. But this was not to be, as Giselle knocked Teri's hand away, plummeting to what is believed to be her permanent death.
