Mini Combat Tournaments

There will be smaller tournaments held at various times of the year. Each will have their own set of rules and some may even have special prizes to the winner! Please post below stating which tournaments people are enrolling in.
Current Limits:
1 per player per tournament




November:

Martial arts Tournament
Rules:
1. 1 v 1 combat
2. No weapons or armor of any kind
3. Unlimited strikes allowed, no skills
4. Fight goes until Knockout
5. Four people per world allowed.
6. Winner will receive training on the brawler skill ( three days training, score of 3 or higher learns the skill )


December:

Sword-fighting Tournament
Rules:
1. 2 v 2 Combat
2. Any one handed sword permitted. Shields permitted ( those with a shield and Protector I will get +1 to defending rolls )
3. Single Strike only
4. Fight goes until a team receives a combined total of 7 strikes, or all members of a team are KO
5. Three teams of two per world allowed, Randomly Assigned



January:

Jousting Tournament
Rules:
1. 1 v 1 combat.
2. Lances only
3. Both opponents roll offensive fighting. Higher roll scores 1 point. Higher score +30 = Knock off horse, 2 points.
4. Fight goes until 5 points or knockout
5. Four people per world allowed
6. Winner wins blue Chocobo trained for combat

Chaos Tournament
Rules:
1. 2 v 2 Combat
2. Weapon each match randomly selected between sword, staff, spear, none. Armor is leather
3. Single Strike
4. Fight goes until KO
5. Four teams per world allowed, Picking their own partner



February:

Run the Gauntlet
Rules:
1. 5 v 5 Combat
2. Each player on a team can pick between Sword, Dagger, Staff, Lance, Mace, Bladed Fan, or Unarmed. However, each weapon can only be used once.
3. Up to three strikes per turn
4. One from each team starts. When one person is KO'd or dropped below 10% of hp, next person comes in. Match continues until one team is out of members.
5. One team per world allowed.
6. Special rule: Each player can pick two characters for this pool. 7 characters in total will be picked
