Reports coming in from the storm:

The hurricane continues to pass through the area. Damage done from the wind, rain and lightning is as follows:

North beach / seventh area. There have been several large waves in the area, however businesses, the stage and the seventh have come through mostly unscathed.

Chocobo farm / farmlands area / northwest part of island: there is where hail and winds have been the worst. Extensive flooding has occurred in this area, and the horse barn has taken a lot of damage, including having been struck by lightning as well though the heavy rains put it out before too much damage was done from it. Hail has not helped and the roofs will have to be redone on some of the buildings in the area. Several of the animals likely have a fair amount of water going through their stalls.

Oceandia: The town has not gotten away unscathed, but the situation is pretty good. Some houses and businesses that didn't board up completely have some broken windows from objects being tossed around by the storm, and some low lying areas have taken some flooding. According to the dice the worst hit area are the ones around Shaiya's music shop, and the women's shelter. While nothing extensive, both of those areas are without power and suffering some minor hail / water damage from the storm.

The forest: Trees have fallen flooding around the stream that goes through the island. General damage to the simple huts and buildings in the area. A couple trees got hit by lightning, causing small fires that did get put out. The most notable damage would be at Strato/Shiara's home, that had a tree land on it. There will be a decent number of animals injured, though very few severely.

Overall the island got through quite well all things considered. injuries are coming in at the hospital, that is currently running on the backup generator. So far, no reported deaths and it looks likely that will remain the case.

Overall here are the worst hit areas of the island, from 1 ( most damaged ) to 5:

1. The chocobo farm, being closest to the corner of the island where the storm has passed is damaged quite heavily. All of the barns have taken extensive damage and the horses have been moved to one of the other barns. the entire area is more or less flooded with most of the area ankle deep, with some low laying areas knee deep. It's going to take several days work to repair everything there.

2. The central business district is entirely without power. A few businesses have had storm damage, with shaiya's being notably the worst. Also, as tends to happen during a storm, there has been some smash-and-grab action going on as well. Police will be quite busy today.

3. The Dixon district is mostly without power as well, and signs of looting are pretty rampant throughout the area. Storm damage itself is much less then in the CBD. Though the women's shelter did take a moderate amount of damage, it is still very habitable and safe.

4. The forest had several trees fall and damage done to most of the simple residences there that the protectors and druids stay at. Due to it's proximity to the stream and the lake, Protector's Clearing is completely underwater currently, and there are a total of about two dozen trees that fell through the forest. However only one doing any noticeable damage. Lucky you Strato!

5. The government district made the listing, but mainly due to city hall. Repairs and rebuilding had stated before the storm hit, but most of the scaffolding and some of the recently repaired area took noticeable damage. It will be a few days before they can get back to it. The estate also lost some windows, with water and hail coming into the rooms of Princess Sakura, one of her handmaids, and the primary sitting room. The archives under city hall, and the library, seem to have been spared any damage.
