Biography: Her first memory is of waking up in a hospital at the age of five. Learning that she was the sole survivor of her family in a car accident, she was also made deaf by the incident, and was taken in by her grandfather who was their only living relative.
She was only just starting school, and could speak a few sentences, but her learning was put on hold to catch up on lessons of sign language. This caused her to, when finally starting school, be subject to bullying. Her grandfather consoling her in any way he could, there being an obvious communication gap between them which made life even more difficult.
In time, her personality was molded into the loving, caring person she is, to try and make as many friends as possible, which wasn't always easy. She also tried to keep herself busy, so took on as many extra-corricular activities as she could find interest in, literacy and archery being the more prominent ones. She only ever won a few medals, but nothing spectacular.
Her grandfather had just managed to watch her graduate school before passing away peacefully. Being the only family she could even remember having, she mourned for him, and inherited his house and belongings, though owning a house was expensive. Out of highschool, she threw herself into working as many jobs as she could find like a clerk, a waitress, a dancer, logo designer. It never seemed to be enough.
To make matters worse, her disability made her a bit of a target since her ability to hear anyone coming. She had gotten used to walking around with headphones or earbuds in just to pretend that she couldn't hear the catcalls or whistles she was getting, or a reason for ignoring baited comments in passing.
So that was pretty much her life on any given day. She tried to be the nicest person she could be and help those that needed it in whatever capacity she could, but she wasn't naive. She worked as a waitress and an artist, using archery as a source of stress relief.
