Cost: 5MP, returned when the tendril is returned to it's plane. If the tendril is destroyed in an attack or dispelled by magic, this MP is lost, and the caster also takes 5HP damage.
Uses: Psyche to learn, none otherwise.
Description: allows you to summon a shadow tendril from the plane of shadows. These tendrils can do basic tasks, but cannot fight. When destroyed or no longer needed, it will go back to the plane it came from. Learning this spell is required in order to use almost any of the other shadow skills. As such, any potential shadowmancer must prove they can communicate with the shadow realm before they can be taught any other ability. Level 1 mastery allows the control of a single tendril.
Special Conditions:
1. Limitations for the tendril: It can move any item up to a maximum of 10 pounds. Any Light attack aimed at the tendril will dispel it. Any physical attack of 10hp or more will dispel it. It has no defense roll. If the shadowmancer loses consciousness, the tendril will vanish.

Description: Over the span of a split second, her white cloak wraps around her like a cocoon that bulges then returns to normal, there being up to five replica cutlass for her to throw like spears/javalins. Whether they hit or miss their intended target, they vanish a few seconds later.

Description: The character heals 5hp at the end of every round of combat, or after 1 minute outside of combat. Because her wish that made her a Magical Girl was to heal someone, she can heal much faster than normal.
Biography: Her story began when she and her best friend Madoka met a rather strange cat creature that seemed to be able to speak telepathically. Offering them each a wish and the chance to become a legendary Magical Girl, it seemed almost too good to be true. She had a boy that she really liked that was an amazing violinist, but a disease had taken the use of his hands from him.
Through a series of events, she made her wish to heal his hands, and when visiting him next, another friend of hers had moved in for the goods and they ended up together instead of him being with her. This started her spiral into dispair.
When becoming a Magical Girl, what was unknown to her at the time was that the odd cat creature was a recruiter for Magical Girls to defeat these monsters called Witches. Her soul was removed from her body, the body itself being replaced, and her soul connected to the body in the form of a Soul Ring. When she transformed, it turned into a Soul Gem like an ornimental faberge egg that she kept as a belly button gem. The function of the Soul Gem was to store Dispair, and that the Witches had similar objects called Witch Seeds that absorbed and consumed any Dispair their Soul Gems had accumulated.
What they eventually found out was that when a Soul Gem exceeded a certain amount of Dispair without properly being drained, the Magical Girl themselves turn into Witches. The depression of finding out her wish was entirely wasted, and that she had jumped face first into an eternal battle against these ex-Magical Girls in the form of Witches, she spiraled into an uncontrollable state of Dispair and erupted into a Witch known as Oktavia von Seckendorff, a mutated royal mermaid of sorts.
Though the battle was tough, the other Magical Girls she associated with managed to defeat her, and the Witch Oktavia was destroyed. Though her body remained behind, her soul was lost, and she awoke to find herself floating in an empty black void. This endless drifting seemed to last forever until finally a voice whispered in her mind.
"Your fault."
It seemed to echo and she covered her ears, though it persisted, "You almost killed Madoka."
She opened her eyes to see a form of Oktavia floating in front of her, though the Witch wore her hair and sported her face, the mouth was unnaturally wide and the eyes deep pools of black void. The rest of her hideous body remained though. Manifesting her signiture cutlass, Oktavia speared her through the chest, causing her to shriek out in pain. She tried pulling the blade out, but in a couple of moments, the whole scene blinked back into nothing. She looked around for Oktavia, confused, but saw no one; heard nothing, and felt only a slight dull pain where she had just been stabbed.
She sighed and it seemed another eternity before she spoke out into the void, "I think I understand now. None of it really mattered. Whatever we thought happens to Magical Girls when they become Witches, there's no way even Kyubey could know what this void is. If I am stuck with you, then so be it, but you won't beat me."
Looking down, her Soul Ring had returned. In a flash, her school girl uniform that she had technically died in transformed into her Magical Girl uniform, her cutlass in her hand, and the white cape hanging off of her shoulders.
She never seemed to tire, but she spent the next who-knows-how-many years in infinite combat with her demon Witch, Oktavia. For all she knew, time was irrelative, and this could all have taken place in the split second her Soul Gem had exploded to release Oktavia in her real world.
