Yemaya is the smallest in stature of all of the deities, and is also the most tranquil like a gentle stream. However she is also the most protective of those closest to her,and those who offer her the most gifts, and will go further then most deities would in order to protect them. Her main temple is on an peninsula covered almost entirely with rain forest. Here her priestesses help travelers and he sick/injured, and help sailors and travelers be blessed before they depart.
