Personality: Light-hearted. Ravenous takes great pride in helping his friends, be it around the house or on the battlefield. He appears calm and collected most of the time, willing to be silent for the sake of letting others have their word. He respects most, until they give him reason not to.

Weakness: Blood, in that it can be hard for him to control more feral aspects of himself when feeding. Bullies. Anyone who picks on others often times sets the wolf on an intercept course. Numbers and means don’t matter. Reckless when it comes to defending his friends. With his venture to discover a balance within himself, he alienated himself from people for some time. Despite his experiences since then, he displays a strong desire to be by himself.

Ravenous Morales stands just over six feet tall, not counting pointed canine ears atop his head. He has a wild look about him, spiked hair in disarray about his head matching the condition the wolf kept his tail in. He wears a pair of loose fitting black pants, a narrow belt tight about his waist. Normally he can be found without a shirt, but seldom will he abandon his black leather jacket.

Biography:
The life of Ravenous Morales has been both easy and difficult in extremes. He was born to Bakkar al’Shan Morales and Essence Nightbringer in the New Earth city of Southern Horizon. His grandfather was the single most powerful, yet bound, man on the planet: Nightbringer Industries founded the arms market for magical beings, created a planet-wide communication system, laid all of the groundwork for the mega capital’s more advanced infrastructure and allowed an environment for creatures of all creeds and kinds to live in the same relative peace. Essence was next in line to step up and fill her father’s shoes, which even the gods recognized as substantial. Until Bakkar al’Shan Morales came along and got her pregnant. The implanting of the demon’s seed reacted negatively with the vampire’s body, she began getting sick, quickly after the mid-term. To remedy the issue, she was given a cure for the stasis of cells brought on by their version of vampirism. The cure worked, however it still left her with a hybrid child inside a too-weak body. Ravenous was carried to full term, at the cost of his mother’s life, which ignited a war between Nightbringer Industries and the Morales clan of demons that shook Southern Horizon to its core. Entire districts turned in to war zones where nothing and no one was safe from brutality and hyper-violence.

Out of the conflict an evil was bred. Something darker than the savagery that was everyday life in the neighborhoods that made up Old Town. At 9 years old, Ravenous was taken and trained to combat that evil. Combining his father’s regiment of learning to harness the demon half of him through fighting and struggling, and his grandfather’s resources and technology, he was a combined effort of his broken family. Juno Nightbringer swore to destroy any trace that had ever existed of the Morales clan, and the clan swore vengeance for what they considered the first strike. Once the entity known as Malaki Xanderos rose from the darkest pits of Makai to carve out its own nightmarish swath through the town, the two leaders put their long battle on hold to pour all of their energy in to containment of the problem, and training of young Ravenous.

He was 20 when he finally faced Malaki, with a team of family and allies. While his friends weakened the demon by fighting off his minions, Ravenous stood in front of the demon of pain itself. When the smoke cleared, four of the nine had died, and Ravenous was a broken mess of human body. One of his legs severed as well as his left arm, a slice along the side of his head, breaking through the jaw and skull, through the eye and just short of doing irreparable harm to his brain even with cutting edge technology and science. It wasn’t until he began coughing up blood that anyone could tell any life was left in him. Juno, Nicodiemus Blackraven and Bakkar got him back to Nightbringer Ind. Headquarters, putting him under the care of the Magus.

A lifetime later:

Ravenous used a combination of genetic engineering in the life sciences department and magic requiring soul essence to craft his body as he wanted. The wolf was always an inspiration for him. Not because of it’s danger or looks or toughness, but because a wolf could operate on their own, should the need arise. When they hunted in packs, things got done. Since his work with the team resisting Xanderos, he felt a pull to leadership. There was something about having to be aware of a situation to the point he could tell people when and where to move in such a way that saved them, and defeated their enemy. To regrow his limbs he was going to have to sacrifice much of their structure and functionality, even in the best of circumstances. The mixing of tech and magic, however, opened a number of doors to him. Including making himself stronger, taller, allowing that fierce warrior spirit to manifest in his outward appearance.

Ravenous was key in the drafting of the Morales War treaty of 2319, mostly because he took Juno’s side, rather than Bakkar’s. The demons had done enough damage. The war that they waged, the weapons that they used and the tactics they employed killed more innocent bystanders than every violent crime committed in the history of the city, even before Juno’s rise to power and modernization of their world. To pay for that, the clan and their allies who were involved in the fighting would leave the planet. It was that, or face a weapon even the gods didn’t approve the existence of. Because of Bakkar’s unwillingness to refuse Ravenous’ request, the leader of the opposition forces began collapsing his army, his captains falling in line one by one or being killed to ensure the deal was upheld.

Ravenous stayed on with his grandfather’s business. Be it out of a sense of honor, duty, or debt, he devoted his life to making sure that those who were under the watchful eye of the company were kept safe from any threat. Once the number of threats facing his grandfather grew too strong, he needed a team.
