Tindalos Keys:
Clarissa is in possession of the Tindalos Keys, four strange metal kunai-shaped keys that can open a gateway through Tindalos to another location when the tip is placed in a corner where two walls meet in a sharp angle. Depending on how far the location is, it may require the use of multiple keys. Using such transportation risks summoning a deadly Hound of Tindalos, a large unspeakable Eldritch abomination. They can also function as daggers if needed.
Special: Uses Psyche, 1 roll per key used. Depending on the location, transportation may take multiple keys. If any roll results in a botch, instead of opening a gate, a Hound of Tindalos appears through a smoke-like portal.
Book of Nightmares:
This dark grimoire carries the list of names of all who have, are, and will be dreamt about by The Great Dreamer. The Great Dreamer will create living nightmares to hunt down the name in the book. If the name disappears, the person is safe from further harm.
Biography:
Clarissa Westmoor is the daughter of Herbert Westmoor, a famous archaeologist and inventor. When Clarissa was younger, her father invented the Crossrealm Vertex, a machine that could open portals to other dimensions. One such dimension was a nightmare realm known as Tindalos. Clarissa was unlucky enough to be trapped in this realm, having to survive the harsh landscape alone for what felt like ages.
During her journey through Tindalos, she witnessed a man being tormented by large geometrically shaped beings that were known as Hounds. These creatures were ruthless hunters, never stopping until they captured their prey. She also came across a temple that expanded below the sea known as Ry'leh. It was in this temple that Clarissa found her calling. She discovered the Great Dreamer, a large creature with the body of a giant, the wings of a bat and the head that looked like an octopus. She found a book that had names within, some in red ink, others in black. The latest name in red was her father's. She also found a set of daggers that opened gateways to other dimensions. When she found her own, she escaped, learning that her father was murdered for his invention.
She now uses these new gifts to seek those who are at risk of the Great Dreamer's wrath, stopping them from meeting their fate by his eldritch nightmares.
