Every generation, five from his world are picked by the spirits as the 'chosen ones' to protect the universe. They are given amazing abilities but also a curse to prevent them from using it to take over a country or world. Mor`Nai's powers are as follows:



Natural Stoneskin

Description: When activated the user switches to the stoneskin stats listed above, and gains Good protection against all damage. His weight also alters to double it's normal amount, and he becomes immune to knockdown affects.


Strong Like Stone, Sink Like Stone
Cost: N/A
Uses: N/A
Description: When Mor`Nai enters water or is either on a boat or flying above a larger body of water such as a large lake or the ocean ( a stream or creek will not cause this ) , he will take on his stoneskin form automatically, causing him to sink. He can be rescued by another swimmer, but they will suffer a -3CS to swimming while doing so. ( In other words, unless your swimming ability is at least Excellent rank, trying to assist him will drag you under with him )


Unyielding Sentinel
Cost: N/A
Uses: N/A
Description: Mor`Nai can also turn himself into a statue, useful for blocking a doorway or keeping someone he was holding before she shifted restrained. His weight doubles again in this form, making him nearly immovable unless the person is exceptionally strong, such as a dragon. When activated he must stay in that form for 5 rounds in combat, or 5 minutes out of combat. In this form he has Excellent protection against all damage, and is immune to mental attacks. This ability may only be used once a day.
Special Conditions:
1. Should he have a part of his body damaged or removed, that will carry over when he returns to normal. Should his head be removed, the spell automatically ends, and he is dead.

Description: Heals an amount equal to Psyche -2CS in hp or 6hp, whichever is greater.

Communication with Animals

Uses: Reasoning/Psyche ( whichever is higher )
Description: Allows you to speak to forest creatures such as deer, foxes, wolves and more for one hour. Once you learn your first fourth circle spell, cost becomes none and a roll is only required when something is resisting it.


Nature's Touch
Cost: 2MP
Uses: Psyche ( Only if there is something in the area attempting to block this spell )
Description: Reaches into the heart of a dying tree or plant, giving it energy to help it heal and repair itself.


Companion to Animals
Cost: 10MP
Uses: Psyche
Description: Can turn any hostile animal into an ally, convincing it that the caster is one with the forest and will not harm them. This spell will only work on non-sentient animals and is broken only when the animal is harmed or if the spell is released.




Biography:

Mor`Nai was a very bright man in his village, having been taking care of his sister Shai`Nai after their parents died in a freak accident ( while hunting something spooked the animals and they stampeded towards the hunters instead of away from them ). He loved to read and learn everything he could, quickly making him considered one of the 'wise men' in the village. When one of the three elders that comprised the council of his village was dying, he chose Mor`Nai to be the next elder, making him the youngest elder in the village's history.

One day while out travelling the forest with his sister near the village, an incident occurred where a large branch suddenly fell from a tree, landing on Mor`Nai's head. He suffered a minor amount of brain damage, that for a long time affected his ability to speak, making him sound far dumber then he really was. When he awake from the incident he found himself on Fantasy Island in the hospital. His sister, being worried about his health after the incident, requested a passing traveler to transport them to somewhere safe.

Since his arrival on the island, he has made a living during a variety of things. Philosophy is one of his loves, as is assisting young inventors with their ideas.. for a part of the cut from the sale of the items or the idea. As such, Mor`Nai has a fair amount of money, though besides his love for paintings, is very frugal with his money, preferring to live a somewhat simple lifestyle.
