Biography:
Henrietta was the only survivor of a Rome massacre where all six members of her family were cruelly murdered and she herself was repeatedly assaulted the whole night, next to the bodies of her family. She was then brought to the National Hospital just a few weeks before the start of the series.
Henrietta was presented to the Croce brothers by her doctor as someone who was in dire need of the services provided by the Social Welfare Agency. The doctor told them about what had happened and adds that since then she has wanted to kill herself. Soon, Henrietta was brought to the Agency where she, like all other children chosen by the Agency, underwent conditioning and physical modification. As a result of the conditioning, Henrietta's memories of her horrible past were erased.
At the start of her life at the Agency, Henrietta was said to be a very quiet girl who rarely showed emotion. It was only when Jose made an effort to talk to her did she start becoming more cheerful and outgoing. She and Jose went on a good number of missions over a few years, but that all came to an end one day when the Social Welfare Agency was attacked led by Five Republics Faction.
The attack re-triggered haunting memories of her family's death before entering the SWA. In a confused state, Henrietta accidentally shot Jose in the abdomen, critically wounding him. Henrietta had also suffered a lower back injury from being attacked, making it hard for her to move. Jose had reminded her of an investigation of another dead SWA girl and how she had died, being shot through the eye, and a remark she had made then about dying alongside those that she loved. They held their guns up to the other's head and though she shot Jose, he couldn't bring himself to kill his ward.
She awoke in a hospital bed of the SWA, her wounds healing, and her mind 'conditioned' to forget Jose and the attack, and her history, once again...
