"The Suave-buckler"
The intent of these were to provide excellent traction with just the right amount of give where it matters, the toes and back of the heel lacking much traction to allow the wearer to 'slide' when pivoting, but still instantly regain traction to pressing an advance or parry in the swordfighting arena. The simple style is reflective of the proper swordsman's technique. Enigmatic, dangerous, and revealing little about potential. The aerodynamic flaps are secured at the back of the boot, then down to the heel. The buttons are designed to hold the heavy laces of these specialty boots and add a small degree of flair to an intentionally simple design.
