The world of Ur`thur (pronounced urr-thur), is a large continent split into three very different areas according to weather, customs, and culture.
The Northern most part, simply referred to as 'The North' is built with rows and rows of mountains and always covered in a thick blanket of snow. It is home to the A`Reah, large pine trees, and large beasts covered in a thick layer of fur.
The Southern most part, simply referred to as 'The South' is nothing but miles and miles of sand, and always has wind blowing, even if it's just a breeze. It is also home to the Ruja (pronounced rue-jey) a mighty and massive desert where only the trained and accustomed can live in the constant heat, sandstorms, and lack of water. The sands are covered in cacti, small shrubs, and only few lizards and small mammals can thrive there.
Between the two is a stretch of land that is mostly likened to a belt. It divides the two, yet has characteristics of it's own. This part is called 'The Mid-Lands' and homes a variety of people.
