Akemi has dark purple hair, braided down her back into a thick braid almost reaching her thighs. She has dark brown eyes and wears a black headband around her forehead with a blue symbol embroidered into it. She wears a pair of black shorts that come mid way between her knees and her hips, these are done up with a small red sash around her waist. She wears a black and red sleeveless top that extends all the way down to her waist. She has a tattoo of a dragon on her right arm and a strange symbol tattooed in blue on her left arm. Her shoes are black, soft and make virtually no sound as she walks along.

Description: Allows the mentalist to talk to someone in their mind, or read someone's mind. The target has to be within visible range with no obstructions between the two. Do note that even if you just read their mind there is a chance a non-mentalist can sense someone in their mind ( roll psyche and get a yellow or highr ) though they will not know who did it. Once the mentalist reaches circle 4, it is impossible for a non-mentalist to know if someone is in their mind unless they speak or reveal themselves.

Biography:
 
Akemi grew up in a small village with her parents and all seemed well until strange things began happening when she was only five years old. She would know what peoples emotions were sometimes and she would seem to hear people thinking without knowing it, often telling them answers to questions they had only thought in their heads. People began to grow frightened of the child as she grew and often avoided her, except for the Lin family. Nidishu Lins Grandfather allowed their daughter Nidishu to continue playing with Akemi and seemed not to be afraid of her.
 
Nidi's grandfather even taught Akemi how to fight and use weapons, though he did this in secret as he knew she would be frowned upon. Being as he had no sons, he treated his grand daughter with the respect he would have given his son. Akemi grew up slowly and upon the birth of her brother when she was seven, her abilities began to grow stronger and she could no longer seem to ignore them. Her parents supported her, but tried to get her to stop acting strange, thinking it was just a childish prank she was pulling on them all to get attention because of her brother. Akemi learnt to keep quiet and behaved as everyone wanted her to, still learning in secret with Nidishu's grandfather and Nidi herself.
 
Things were peaceful and although she was not liked by most of the other children, Akemi was happy with Nidi's company. That was until the huns began attacking and the strange heartless creatures arrived. In a skirmish that swept through Akemi's town, Nidi's grandfather went missing, along with Akemi's family. The two girls had managed to stay hidden in a secret place as the Huns decimated their town. Searching through the rubble and debris after the attack, they found none of their families bodies and could not understand what had happened to them.
 
Having been transported via a portal to the destiny islands, Akemi started slowly making friends and eventually found her way back home. Here she found that all her family was fine and she decided to remain with her friends on the destiny islands so she could help them.
 
After spending a couple of years on Destiny Island, she started to notice people disappearing. When she went to investigate further, something happened to her, brother and her dog. She was suddenly transported to Fantasy Island and reunited with some very dear long lost friends. Akemi continues to fight for people, but has less need of it now there are many others to fight in her place. Despite being very popular at home and compared to Mulan often, she prefers spending time at her shop. She currently runs the Dragon Bakery, which boasts an impressive selection of both Chinese pastries as well as delicious hand decorated cakes, and a selection of bread. She has had so much work lately that she has had to hire more staff, mostly because her friends won't allow her to work too hard.
